Our development team is almost ready to release the production version of our new Subscription Management System.

This new powerful tool will give publishers the ability to manage subscriptions to not only their online and mobile versions but their print version as well. Our goal was to create a comprehensive tool that is integrated within the Publishers Console to make it simple and easy to manage subscriber information. Email blast, text messaging, and exporting mail list are some of the extra features that are included.  Each publication is given its own subscription order form that handles the sign-up and Credit Card payment processing and feeds data into the Publishers Console.

There is a special Quick Response barcode generator that produces a customized barcode which can be scanned by smart phones and takes the reader directly to the Subscription Form to sign-up. Expected release for the version 1.0 is March 15, 2011.

Magazooms once again sets itself apart from the alternatives by adding support for International Languages.
The updated Magazooms User Interface with automatic preferred language recognition will be released the first week in February 2011. Readers will also be able to select from a drop-down list to change the default language to another on-the-fly. We are happy to be able to provide this enhancement in support of our publishers efforts to reach greater international audiences !

 

We are proud to announce the integration of Google Maps within the Magazooms Interface. Now publications will have the ability to display points of interest in the publication at their location(s) on the Google Map.

 The TACO Travel Guide for 2009 is the our first publication to utilize this new feature. The Travel Guide can now display search results for campgrounds and RV parks on the map. Typically, the users are interested in finding a park with particular amenities and / or local attractions. The map search feature gives them this search-ability and the option to see exactly where the matching results are located.

In this screen-shot a search was executed for "horseback" and all the matching parks are displayed across the state of Texas.

Video Playlist is, no doubt, the most powerful enhancement to Magazooms Reader since the release of version 1.0.

Playing video clips in Magazooms is not new, in fact, this ability has been in place since version 1.0, but this new ability to integrate video playlist from external sources is a real game changer.

For example, publishers with their own youTube channel can connect any of their publications to specific youTube playlists. Its just drop-dead easy to do and any publisher has this option.
